Hi there, I just bought a plant that I need help identifying. I think it is a Hoya, but would like to know what kind. There is only one largish green leaf shaped like a heart (the end of notched in quite a bit). It is 2.5 inches wide and at least 3 inches long. I assume they rooted just the one leaf and the vine (?) will grow given time. Very thick and green with those small white marks that Hoyas get on their cuticle. I bought it a Garden Centre just today, and so it may be making the rounds at other retailers in BC. It is planted in moss which I find kind of strange. I read the other thread and saw the 'Hoya' picture. Not exactly the same, but very similar with a thick green leaf and notched end typical of some hoyas. Any hoya experts out there know?
It is hoya kerrii more commonly known as wax hearts here is a quick google search http://images.google.ca/images?svnum=10&hl=en&lr=&q=heart+leaf+hoya pierrot
You know, no sooner had I written this that I read in an earlier thread what kind of hoya it is, but thanks for your reply nevertheless. It only has one leaf, so hopefully a stem will appear from somewhere.
