Hi, these two seedlings are raised from the seeds which were collected from a tree last winter. The fruit was red, and slightly bigger than a blueberry. There were 4-5 white seeds in a fruit. I checked wikipedia and it looks like that they are hawthorn trees, but I am not sure because these two seedlings look kinda different even if they are from the same tree. Any suggestions? The spring is coming but the tree still has no leaves. Later I can check the leaves if necessary. I live in Zone 5.

    Thank you :)

Appearance of seedling on right and description of size of fruits makes me think these were probably picked from an example of Crataegus X lavallei. Google that one and see if it looks like the tree.
