Is this a furcraea?

    This plant does not look like photos of furcraea I have seen - please can you confirm it is a furcraea. Why have the leaves drooped? I have had the plant for 10 years and finally it has flowered.

    Hmm.. it's possible that it's a Furcraea, but a bit hard to tell with the small size of the images. Any chance you can directly upload some larger images (i.e., not embedded in a Word document)?

    Thank you for your reply to my question. I now think it is a furcraea bedinghausii - I found photos of it in another website and it matches exactly my plant.
