A friend gave me this leaf and flower to try and identify. While I've grown lots of different flower, and while this looks familiar, I really don't know what it is. My best guess is a cinquefoil, but i'm not sure. Can anyone help?? thanks
Another name to look under is A. tomentosa. http://images.google.com/images?hl=en&ie=ISO-8859-1&q=anemone+tomentosa&btnG=Search+Images&gbv=1 The combination A. x hybrida has also been used. If interested in trying to figure out which particular one the specimen shown belongs to you will have to read descriptions which discuss how to sort them out.
Thanks to everyone who replied! I think it is an anemone, i grew a couple of japanese anemones years ago, which is why it looked familiar but i haven't grown any in so long that what it was, slipped out of my head. Thanks again!
