    Hello all

I was wondering if this was a catalpa or chitalpa and if so which one.

It is in the UBC Botanical garden about half way down the main path from the entrance going towards the tunnel.

sorry I could not find an accession label or tag. If someone from UBC or out there could identify the tree I'd appreciate it.

It is Catalpa ovata, which was originally collected in Yunnan (Catalpa ovata CLD0032).
