I bought this plant recently, but the seller could not provide a specific name.I googed and it seems like a cast iron plant(although it's leaves are lighter compared to most cast iron plants). Can any of you confirm the species?
Also any suggestions on how to take care of it are welcome.thanks!

Looks more like Spathiphyllum than Aspidistra to me.

Spathiphyllum, or Peace Lilies, do not need or even want to get direct sunlight, and the leaves do get pale with too much light. Here is the first article I came across on how to care for them:
Grow The Majestic Peace Lily Indoors or Out

If that window gets direct sunlight, you might want move this plant somewhere else in the room and get something else for that space that would be happy in the sun.
