Is this a blackberry or raspberry bush?

Hi all, I am stumped! I found the following thicket in my parent's backyard, some of them originating off a slim trunk..and they look just like raspberries or blackberries, as some of them are turning dark. If anyone can identify this plant/bush/tree, whatever it is, and let me know if these are edible berries..I'd so appreciate it!

White Mulberry (Morus alba). Edible, but not as nice as Red Mulberry or Black Mulberry. They don't look fully ripe, either - wait until they detach very easily (at a touch) from the shoots.

Oh, they're definitely not ripe, not even close, and they're pretty small! Thing is, do White Mulberry bushes grow like weeds and spread all over? This bush has taken on a life of it's own, with litttle bushes popping up along side of it.

Yes! It is listed as an invasive weed species in many US states.

Thank you so much, Michael! Now I can help them pull some of the spreading bushes, although we'll keep a few to taste the fully ripe berries -- although, after looking it up, they're described as insipid in taste. I kind of figured we'd be getting pretty lucky if it was a really 'tasty' berry bush..LOL
