I'm still persevering with my hunt for native trees. Can someone tell me please if this is a Bitter Cherry?

First is a cherry, second is a crab.

Thanks, Ron. You're right, I mixed up photos from two trees. But I'm also looking for a native crabapple, so maybe I found it too!

The cherry is not a bitter cherry, beyond that leaves need to be shown to say what kind it might be. Sweet cherry is a common weed in this region, it also crosses with bitter cherry to produce an intermediate called Puget cherry.

Thanks, Ron. That is helpful because I'm looking for a bitter cherry. My quest will continue.....

I'm going to post the apple tree bark picture in another thread; maybe you or someone else can tell what kind of apple it is.
