Probably a silly question, but, having read all the pruning articles, I'm confused on weather or not I should take off all the dead branches and twigs from a maple now before they leaf out. Seems almost 1/4 of tree is dead twigs & branches, I was shocked how many there were. They were just snapping off. Can I cut/snap them all off now while I can see them all. I'm not pruning it actually., just dead stuff. Pic attached, not great I just Google streetview for a quickie...... Thanks......
