1 1/2 weeks ago i purchased a Hoya Kenejiana from Flora Exotica here in Montreal
it was in a 4" pot a very young plant the pot was only half full of mix which looked to be orchid mix and the pot was very unatractive so i decided to repot into some thing a little nicer i used regular potting mix along with the mix that the plant was in, trying not to disturbe the roots to much and then i watered it well, the soil was not drying out after 1 week so i repotted again this time using 50% orchid mix and myke potting soil with extra perlite . When i turned the pot upside down to remove it all the soil came away from the roots but i managed to put it all back in the pot but some of the roots broke off in the process is my Hoya doomed?

Your hoya should be ok as long as it wasn't "overpotted" and has "good drainage" new roots should grow back, although it's best to repot plants in the spring since many plants, including hoyas slow down their growth now.

It came in a 4" pot so i replaced it with the same size but the root ball is very small should i leave it alone or should i disturb it yet again to a 2" pot?
