Is it ok to get dirt in a VFT mouth?

    Is it ok to get dirt in a venus fly trap's "mouth"? If not what should I do? Thanks!

    Well, how much dirt do you mean? Don't think a modest amount would be fatal---I daresay in the wild they probably face this situation once in a while. Gentle rinsing would dislodge the particles without injuring the spiny bits or tender trap interiors.
