Wildflowers: is it a Hummingbird

    Can You please identify this plant, is the bird in the pic a Hummingbird, I live in the East Not the west

    The bird is a female Palestine Sunbird (Cinnyris osea). Not a hummingbird, but with similar behaviour (a good example of convergent evolution).

    Thanks Alot, realy you are right as I live in Jordan and my land is facing Palestine.I usually see this bird in Jerusalem and the nearby mountines, thanks again

    Silver surfer, Just noticed that this picture is taken where I live in Amman, Jordan. When I saw the picture I thought at first it is one of my pictures as the background is very similar to the area where I have my vacation house, you are welcomed any time when you visit Jordan
