Is it a Cretan Pitcher Plant? My name for it ;-)

    Came across this plant whilst walking in Crete. It looks like some sort of pitcher plant, but not like those I have seen before. I'm no expert. Can anyone identify it please?

    Something in the genus Aristolochia - very cute!

    Many thanks. I agree with you, having already done some Google searches and found some images. Cretan Birthwort is, I believe, the common name.
