Hi, I'm planning to plant several Arborvitae Shrubs. My question, are arborvitae shrubs consider to be trees?

The usual definition of a tree is a plant which is capable of reaching 6 metres tall with a single trunk. This includes Arborvitae, so yes, it can be considered a tree.
