A friend gave me some bearded irises from her garden. I planted them about three weeks ago. The leaves started browning around the tips within a few days. No new browning, but they look awful. Is there anything I can do to ensure their success? I have been given irises in my previous house, and had no problems, I seem to recall they bloomed the first year.
