   This year, the flower buds on my Inula aborted and did develop into blooms. It is about 5 years' old. Can anyone tell me what caused this problem. Thanks very much.

   Thank you Ron. I thought I was providing adequate water, but we've had little rain to supplement the irrigation, so that may be the answer.
