Does anyone have information on how to induce wood lignification and further dormancy in young Vitis vinfera vines (cv Cabernet sauvignon) on 110R roostock? I have a vineyard in the Napa Valley that is still showing green tissue growth and with fall frosts and the potential for winter kill being high I woudl like to know if there is a spray that will help induce more wood production (sugars to starch)? I have had a recommendation for the addition of a potassium spray (KDL) along with Borosol at 10% v/v? Any experinece with this combination?
    Thank you
