    Hello:
This tree was given to me as a gift. Any idea what type? The trunk of the tree is braided and the leaves are pretty long and slender. It is in a 17" dia pot, i would like to repot and take care of it. Any suggestions?
    Thanks.

Ficus maclellandii resolves to Ficus binnendijkii. So the name might simply be that without any cultivar assignation. The common name, Narrow-leaf Fig, reinforces this. The name Ficus binnendijkii 'Alii' is indicated as invalid.

Ficus maclellandii is an accepted name. Perhaps these leaves are a better match to maclellandii, as it does appear that binnendijkii leaves tend to be on average a bit narrower and longer.
