Identification: Indoor Plant from New Zealand - what's this? please help

    my wife had this plant from the office. It's getting really big and we're wondering what the heck it is? Can someone please help? It's incredibly sturdy and refuses to die despite accidental dehydration over holidays :)

    Yes Peace lily. Spathiphyllum, probably what they call over here "Americana"

    wow, thanks for super prompt reply guys! You guys are amazing. Cheers from aoteroa, Maori for "land of the long white cloud" - how do they fit so many words into so few syllables? :)

    Perhaps, but there isn't really a trick to it. ;)

    There are a number of common houseplants that pop up here almost daily. The Peace Lilly is one of them. Search the name using the forums search function and you will see. "Dracaena marginata" is in my mind the most common one of all.
