OK, This is my last one...for now :) Thanks for the help. All my plants are doing great thansk to all the suggestions and input.
that's a syngonium aka arrowhead vine. it will do in fairly shaded conditions and will go nuts in a sunnier spot. it's an aroid, so it likes moistish soil - not totally soggy, just consistantly moist. a mix of regular soil and orchid mix works well for me. there are a ton of color variations - i don't know the name for that particular one.
I suspected the same Joclyn. I'd just like to see the vine and any inflorescence if one exists on the plant. This species (in this case very likely a hybrid) is extremely variable. I tried two days ago to explain natural variation but a number of folks seem to still not fully understand the concept. When you throw in hybridization that really complicates matters. http://www.botanicalgarden.ubc.ca/forums/showthread.php?t=40385
Thank you. I had it in a sun room and it was doing amazing, but I needed room in there and it simply got to big so I moved it. The new location, as you can see is not in direct sun and the plant does not look 'Happy". It does get indirect sun for 1/2 the day. Is it OK to move it into the sunlight every now and then or should I let it acclimate to the new surroundings.
