I'm thinking of buying a indoor banana tree Musa cavendishii and would like some info before I buy.

What type soil do I need? Type of fertilizer, ad how often to fertilize? Do I need 2 for pollination? Anything else I need to know?

And I would say from experience that the number #1 thing you have to look out for when growing bananas indoors is spider mites. When a banana is grown indoors, chances are a spider mite infestation will follow. You will need to keep on top of this as it quite possibly will kill your plant. I have a lost a number of mine to it.
