Ive purchased a dozen 125cm Inabashidare maples. They all have branches starting from 2 feet up the stem. I thought I was purchasing a top grafted tree. I ordered 40 but only took 12 cuz I didnt want to get stuck with trees that need to be baby sat for a few more years. I did purchase a 2 footer and it had a nice weeping form at the top not a bunch of branches up the stem. I did check if the top of the tree had a nice form to it that I can easily just cut the rest of the branches and end up with a nice looking tree. These trees dont even have a weep to them yet. Are the facts normal for a Inabashidare *** maple. Is there any thing that I should do to get them to have a weep to them. This might be one of those cases where noyone took care of it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. george.
