A customer of mine came in the other day with a plant I haven't seen before. I sent the pictures of this plant to my growers, they are also puzzled. If you could take a look at the plant for me and tell me if you know what it is, I would very much appreciate it. I have attached 5 pictures. My customer just bought the house with the plant on the property. His neighbor is a master gardener with his focus on succulents and cacti. His neighbor didn't know what it was and said that the previous owner had planted it. He has been unable to get in contact with the previous owner, so he came to me. The plant is in full sun. The watering requirements are low and it's about 4ft high x 5ft wide (he keeps it cut to this). The leaves are slightly waxy. The plant is located in San Clemente, California about 2 miles from the beach, but is most likely in heavy clay soil. San Clemente has a unique climate, It seem as though anything with grow here, as long as it can acclimate to the clay soil. Thank you so much for you time. I hope you can help me.
Thank You! Looks like a perfect match and description. What an amazing, beautiful plant! I love learning new things. I can now teach the "master 'cactus' gardener". I find a grower, to show it to and confirm.
