This post is only for small unnoticeable flowers lovers. We all miss flowers like these but there are time and there are people who want to catch this rare moment
I read long ago that Ilex sp. can be identified by flowers, they are very different by sp. Size, color, number of petals and even arrangement on the branch

This Ilex crenata cv. Mariesii in Alpine Garden is quite mature and noticeable tree near fence in Asian section, I hope you would find it .

Second picture is Ilex verticillata, native to east and center of N. America is in bloom too. Just to compare so different flowers.

Next time I promise to post one more Ilex in bloom, I saw buds and looking forward to catch small flowers in right time

There are two Ilex sp. in bloom in Asian garden.
They look quite the same, leaves and flowers, second one has label with Ilex litseifolia Id, first one is just Ilex sp.
