    Hello all,

I know there have been MANY posts of people asking with help identifying many different notorious "tropical plants" from Ikea... and I'm about to post another.

I've got three small plants (all the same type) and one large plant. The small plants are approximately 5" tall, the large plant is about 36" tall.

Anyone have any idea what type of plants they are?

    Thanks in advance!

    #1 looks like an all-green Dieffenbachia. ??? Good-looking plant!
#2 might be Dracaena 'Janet Craig'.

Thanks! It does look similar to the Dieffenbachia, but every photo I've seen has had white on it. I think its a pretty darn good lookin' fella myself! :)

I think you're right on the second one though for the three small plants.

    Thanks for your help!

Well, no doubt our bevy of experts will soon weigh in with the ID.

My first impulse w/#1 was Dieffenbachia--- then I, like you, thought 'An all-green one?' Maybe Spathiphyllum...? But, had to go with D., though...white or no white!

I totally agree. It's just the white / non-white thing throwing me off! Haha.

#1 does look like a Spathiphyllum, a larger version of the smaller ones, possibly, Spathiphyllum 'Mauna Loa'.

Jeez loueeze! Is it an exceptionally extra-large specimen, or have I just been leading a sheltered life? It's a whopper!

Yeah, a real monster compared to the smaller ones. A pretty nice looking plant! There is yet another larger version called, 'Sensation' and I think one or two others as well, but can't think of their names at the moment...
