Ihelp needed to ID this flowering plant

    This plant I found growing at the edge of a wood. Altitude 160 m. geographic location S. Italy. The plant is rather difficult to see because of the very thin peduncles and of course with the grass background.

    Hi Andrey, Not Verbena officinalis. I thought it could belong to the Limonium group but so far I haven't been able to find and exact match. Thanks, Duffy

    Limonium is new to me. Probably, I saw it in flower arrangements. There are seven of them listed for your place. However, none has stem leaves. This must be something from Lamiaceae, perhaps. Clinopodium, Galeopsis, Micromeria, Satureja - just a quick look. Italia is a Lamiacea paradise.
