If I grow a small tree in a pot, will the roots break the pot?

I am making an attempt to grow a small tree called Moringa Oleifera. I will be pruning the tree to maintain a maximum height of 4 feet.

    The questions:

    1. The tree apparently has a large tap root system. Will the size of this tap root system be relative to the height of the tree?

    2. If I keep pruning so it grows like bushes, will the tree's root structure change?

    3. I am attempting to grow this tree indoors aquaponically (A combination of aquaculture and hydroponics), so I cannot afford to have the tree's container break apart due to the root stretching out. Will the tree's root continue to push through the container? Or will it eventually stop growing due to the small container size? The growing dimensions of the growing container is 22 inches in diameter, and 13 inches deep. The container is made out of a half-cut HDPE 55 gallon barrel which is 4 mm thick.
