I am trying to add to my bookshelf a compilation of resources on this genus, especially their descriptions. Can anyone help me out with some resources, preferably online, but hard copies i will also pursue.

i have found this, which so far seems to be the best all in one resource, but i am still left with questions...especially on exactly how many species their are, and which ones are "accepted".

A peek through GRIN gives me 8 accepted species total, with two synonyms. I like GRIN because it's normally fairly up to date regarding taxonomy.

W3Tropicos gives 75 results, some of which are varieties; it totals to about 68 or so species. (Check it out for yourself; they have great information.)

And the ePIC system at Kew Royal Botanical Gardens turns up 232 results on Argyreia, many of which will be duplicates, but is definitely worth checking out since they often have links to scholarly articles on the species.
