I need help identifying this plant that I have had for over twelve years. When a friend died I inherited it with no explanation. It has only bloomed twice since 1995. It is in bloom presently and there appears to be green seed pods forming in the center of the flower. I would appreciate any information about the plant; especially on plant care as I would like to grow other plants from the mother plant. Thank you.

Thank you Pierrot for the identification. I can now have a lot more fun with the plant. I will try harder with the cuttings.
