Identify this plant

    Guys, my mom recently told me that she found a plant in our garden. She is saying this plant is some kinda medicinal plant and has many medicinal property. But she is not so sure, niether am i. So can you please identify this plant and tell me what this is.

    Hmmmm...this could be a little Magnolia tripetala...maybe. Need more info. Your part of the country? Does your mom live in or near woodlands? Some more details about the plant itself. The photos suggest it is a woody-stemmed plant, leading to my first impression it could be a magnolia sp.

    Looks like some type of Ficus. Perhaps F. heteropoda.
