Identification: Identify this plant?

    Hi!

    I just got a plant from a friend of mine but I'm not sure what it is. My friend told me it's a "schefflera," but googling pictures of schefflera plants, it does not look like this. Anyone know?

    Looks more like an Avocado, Persea americana. ???
