I live in coastal NSW (Eastern Australia). This plant appeared in a vegetable garden I was clearing and wondered what it was (and maybe I wont pull it out :) )
It is an upright plant with red stems on the leaves. Its still quite young but wanted to know if it should stay or not
    Thanks for your help~!

Any additional photographs on this one? Perhaps it has flowered?

No flowers or anything other than leaves at this point. I have seen a similar plant in the bush near our home that appears to be a young tree but im not positive its exactly the same as its not in great shape.
    Here are two closer photos
    thanks for looking,

I think the leaves are too big for that plant.
I have been told now its probably a Omolanthus populifolius or a Native Bleeding Heart which grows into a giant tree and we have some of them that are near by.
Does this sound right to you?
