Got this plant from the University of Toronto's forestry and agriculture building during camp this summer. Been watering it and its been growing fine but I would like to know what kind of plant it is. All I can remember is that the UofT staff that gave it to us said it grows very quickly.

Picture not to clear but, your plant looks like a crassula - possible ovata. common name Jade plant. If so, it's a bit leggy try to give it some more indirect light. barb

My guesses (in descending order of likelihood):

    Crassula ovata
    Portulacaria afra
    Senecio jacobsenii

Sorry the pictures weren't clear. based on the suggestions, the jade plant seems to be the most similar however by researching on the internet, i found that the stem and leaves of the jade plant was much thicker at a similar height.

Hmm. Yeah, I don't think that's a jade. Jade leaves don't curl under like that. Not normally, anyway.

No word if it flowers or anything? All we know is it grows fast? 'Cause that isn't much to go on. What sorts of plants normally live in the building in question?
