I have tried posting to other forums and no one seems to know about this flower. A friend has it growing in his yard, unfortunately he's not here to ask and might not know what it is anyway. So, the flowers are trumpet shaped (they are not trumpet vines, I've checked), yellow, orange, variegated yellow and orange, and rust, they are single petaled and the petals are unconnected to one another, at the base of the flower, right beside the stem, is a funnel-shaped appendage, much like a honeysuckle appendage, and looks to be in the center of the bottom of the flower, with the stem slightly off-centered. The leaves are ovate, similar to a squash leaf. Oh, and they smell heavenly! If anyone can identify these flowers, please email me at sam56@hur.midco.net. Thank you!

Identification is much easier with a photo. Perhaps that's why you've had trouble getting an ID on it from other forums. A photo of the whole plant, a flower, and a closer shot of the foliage is preferred.

    Well, unfortunately, that isn't possible.

    Maybe try searching Tropaeolum species.
