    I just got this plant at a garage sale. It was in a pot I wanted.
    Can anyone tell me what it is?

    Looks similar to some Himalayan Balsam that's currently invading my garden, but not sure.

    Thanks for your replies.
    I think it is indeed Himalayan Balsam. ..after googling extensively.
    I think I will compost them...as it seems they could take over even
    a container garden when they explosively release their seeds.
