#2 looks like an ornamental rhubarb, probably Rheum palmatum var. tanguticum. Very variable, but new spring growth is often deep red, and mature leaves will often (but not always) show red ribs and flushing to leaf undersides. Flowers/seeds typical of culinary rhubarb, Rheum rhabarbarum, though typically in longer, thinner inflorescences. Flowers sometimes red, often ivory. Can get very tall/wide - flower spikes in my garden are over 8 ft. tall right now, foliage clump is topping 6 ft.
