identify pest on gardenia

    Hi,
    Please help!
    What IS that white stuff on the underside of my gardenia leaves??????
    I want RID of it!!!!

    could be from a scale insect. try looking at the point where it attaches to the plant and see if there is a critter hidnig under it

    It's too small for me to see, but I washed the leaves with baking soda, and haven't seen them for the last 2 days, so I'm keeping my fingers crossed!
