identify overgrown dandelion

    This plant almost got ripped out as a weed this spring. It is now over 6ft tall and bloomed yellow flowers over a month ago. Pics show growth since early spring.

    I believe what you have there is a wild mustard plant.

    Probably Hairy Rocket Erucastrum gallicum.

    I looked into both your suggestions and neither one seems to grow nearly as tall as mine is. It is now literally 7ft tall and is rivalling my mountain ash tree.
