    Hi All,
I received this plant from the girls at my last job. They are teenagers and didn't boter to see if there was some sort of identification for this oddity. They just thought it was "weird looking"
It is and I love it! It seems to be doing really well in the bright indirect light it has been receiving. I am getting ready to move it to a larger pot again. Could someone please tell me a good mix to pot it in?

Looking forward to knowing what this plant is that so many people ask about.

    thank you, Jessica

It appears you have Adenium obesum, or common name Desert rose. Do you have it indoors in bright light??

I have one, which is about 7 years old. You want to make sure not to overwater these. Read up on them on the internet. They do flower a beautiful flower. They also can be prone to mealy bugs. You can shape these by trimming, and they can develop a nice caudex at the bottom of the plant, which makes it look like a tree. Enjoy!

You can read up on the care of your Adenium in the "Caudiciform and Pachycaul Tree" forum. Specifically, click on to the "Succulent and Caudiciform Care Guide". There you will find links to any care/culture questions you may have.
