    Hello, all.
I was given 3 small cacti and 1 medium sized one last year. My medium one died from some sort of orange fungus. The lady I got them from has TONS of cacti and she doesn't do anything special with them but they reward her with beautiful blooms every year! (I will send pictures.)
I JUST WANT TO KNOW WHAT KIND THEY ARE so that I could better care for my little ones!
    Thank you.

The genus is Echinopsis. Whether they are species or hybrids I cannot say. Some true species that are common in cultivation and looks like that are oxygona and eyriesii, but how to tell them apart and whether they are really the same species or not is beyond me.
At least you now know enough to find out how to care for them.

Thanks, Mandarin. At least that's a place for me to start. Thanks again!
