    Another common name for Monarda (#2) is bee balm. Interestingly, I have never seen any bees on my plants. Instead, whenever I look there are always a few hummingbirds hovering around the flowers.

    Agree 1 looks like Penstemon. P. ‘Andenken An Friedrich Hahn’ might come in pink and is a little shorter than most - usually under 2 feet tall.

    Thanks for posting - the Monarda flower is wonderful.
