Hi, I have a cactus outside under a tree in a pot. It has flowered twice in the last year. The flowers are absolutly beautiful, we live in Florida. I wanted to know what the name of this plant is and if there is any special care for it. I've never none aything to it for fear of killing it! I'm attaching two photos.
    Thanks, Zabida

It appears to be E. hybrid 'Cinco de Mayo'.

I too have the same plant. It was called a Christmas Cactus. As of today it has 28 flowers on it. It did not flower for over five years and last year 6 or seven flowers. this year since January it has had over 50 flowers. I am in west central florida and it gets the morning sun on our front stoop

Just a note: don't try to sell the plant under the name that K Baron gave, I think it was merely a suggestion. It can be a 'Cinco de Mayo', but it is almost impossible to identify a specific clone from a photo. The last time a looked the Epiphyllum hybrids numbered to about 10,000-15,000 ...

Thanks for all the help, I now believe it is an Epiphyllun. One of you gave me this name and I googled it and I saw similar cacti. Thanks again
