Looks much like a Clivia, which is Amaryllis family. It has orange flowers with the right light, very lovely.
bedixon is right on the money with the id. The most commonly seen flower color is orange, although there are varieties that are available in yellow, salmon, pink and two toned as well, and some pricey ones with variegated leaves:)
