On a vacation to Morocco and Iran I brought back different seeds. Some sprouted and some did not. On the pictures you can see the result with great succes. But I can not identify the plant/tree. Can anyone else?

Bolotty looking forward for an answer.

Where or from what did you collect them?

The tree seedling in the centre is Brachychiton populneus, native to Australia but cultivated in other warm-temperate regions.

The palm seedling at right is possibly a Livistona sp.

    To Tony and Charles.

I collected the seeds in either Morocco or Iran - on the ground....

Thank you for the answer. The palm is Chamaerops wagnerianus.

    To Tony and Charles (again)

Now that I have been looking more closely on the internet at this tree and its seed pods, I am certain, that the seeds come from Morocco - not Iran.
