    I have a lovely flowering bush but there seems to be some contention as to what exactly it is. Hoping someone can end the battle. Thanks!

    Just a guess. My eyes aren't what they used to be, but it looks like a Weigelia. Do the leaves drop off in winter, and leave messy bud clusters where the flowers were? Someone far more knowledgeable than I will step up with a better ID and possibly which one. Barb
