Identification: Tree (TX) ?

    Hi, Sorry if this is a lot of posts, but I have about 4 or 5 plants I'd really like help ID'ing.

    This one is a deciduous tree that doesn't have its leaves yet. These berries are from last fall I'm sure, and most of them have turned a whitish color. It's a long-shot, but I thought there might be someone who could recognize this from either the off-season berries, the bark, etc.

    This is in hill country area, TX
