    Here is some more information.
    The Cornflower (Centaurea cyanus) also known as Bachelor's button, Basket flower, and Boutonniere flower is a small annual flowering plant in the family Asteraceae, native to Europe. The nickname "cornflower" comes from the fact that the plant grows wild in the grain fields of southern Europe.

    Most people know Centaurea cyanus as Bachelor's Button.
