Identification of Yellow Flowering Shrub

    These flowers are growing in my yard in Toowoomba, Queensland, Australia. I am dying to know what they are called. Does anyone know? Thankyou.

    I knew lozza would be an Aussie name!!! I'm in Brisbane and was just up at Cabarlah yesterday at Borneo barracks, good to see you on here lozza.

    As to the id of your plant, I can't help you sorry, but a nice looking flower...

    Agree with Hypericum, possibly Hypericum calycinum (Rose of Sharon)

    Leaves and anthers don't look right for that particular species of Hypericum.
