I would welcome any information available on identification of a tree that has
sprouted in my Harrison Hot Springs garden, that looks like a Peach, or could it be
    an Almond tree.

If it is a Peach tree, I would like to move it to a sunnier location.
If it is an Almond tree, is there any value of an almond tree in the garden?

I would rather not have to wait years before the tree matures to the size that it can
bear fruit to identify it as Peach or Almond.

    Many thanks

The leaves of the two are different, except when the almond is really a hybrid almond, half peach and half almond. Then the leaves are intermediate. Start by looking at the leaves of a know peach tree and seeing if yours is the same.
