Need help in identifying this flowering cactus. I purchased this cactus summer 07 and brought it inside for the winter. It has grown quite tall (about 2 feet) since it I brought it in for the winter and the flowers are only located at the very top of the plant. Any thoughts on the name of this cactus/plant?

Kalanchoe daigremontiana aka Bryophyllum daigremontianum and commonly called "Mother of thousands."

    It's not a cactus, but a succulent.

The mother plant will die when that bloom is finished, but it should live on in the zillions of pups that it's got along the edges of each leaf.

Lorax is right and every leaf that falls, will create a new plant, hence the common name!! Be a bit careful on this one and try not to let go wild.
